NOW that most historic sites and museums are now re-open, Tapestry of Time would like to encourage you to support your local museums as much as possible.  While some museums do receive some state or national funding, many are not-for-profit organizations that rely heavily on donors, volunteers, and daily visitation to be able to operate.  In short, because of being closed for so long this year many are hurting right now.

If you have some extra time, consider looking for museums in your area and pay them a visit.  They would be thrilled to see you.  Or additionally you could consider making a donation or volunteering if you have the ability or resources to do so.  Here is a list of some quality historic sites and museums but this is a drop in the bucket.  You may need to research further to find some close to you but I hope this can be of some help.
